More bad news for the Kennedys: Kerry Kennedy, the ex-wife of Gov. Cuomo and daughter of the late Robert F. Kennedy, was arrested Friday morning on drug-related charges.
Kennedy was nabbed by State Police after taking off following a collision with a tractor-trailer on I-684 in the town of North Castle in Westchester County.
State Police said they found Kennedy, 52, sitting behind the wheel of her disabled 2008 Lexus RS 350 on state Route 22. The car had sustained damage, including a flat tire.
An investigation is said to have found Kennedy had been operating the car while her ability was impaired by drugs.

Kennedy is the sister of Robert F. Kennedy Jr., whose wife, Mary, recently hanged herself.

While Kennedy said he was “disoriented” in his statement, police officers described him as “intoxicated.”
How could using Ambien, the nation’s most widely used sleep aid, explain his behavior?
Kennedy’s situation echoes a growing trend, police and toxicologists say. In some states, Ambien has made it onto the lists of the Top 10 drugs found in impaired motorists.
One doctor questioned Kennedy’s decision to get behind the wheel with two prescription drugs in his system.

I wonder who her Godfather is. I only ask because her sister’s (Kathleen Kennedy Townsend) Godfather was Joe McCarthy, which I always found interesting. It turns out that Robert and John were both huge fans of McCarthy, Robert tried to get hired by him. (Seems that some democrats back then didn’t like communism, as hard as that is believe these days)

I read that Joe McCarthy also was Greta Van Sustern’s Godfather. McCarthy and Greta’s father were very close friends. I think Greta is a Scientologist now.

It appears the only Kennedy worth a darn was Joe Jr, who died training for a virtual suicide mission in WWII.
I guess JFK Jr was OK but he also had that lust for risk taking and living on the edge that killed so many of his family.
