Mitt Romney will hold interviews today with ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox News and CNN that will run this evening, sources tell POLITICO.
The network interviews, which will be taped later this afternoon, will air during the nightly news casts.
Jon Karl will interview Romney for ABC; Peter Alexander for NBC; and Jan Crawford for CBS. Jim Acosta will interview Romney for CNN.
Romney's tenure at Bain Capital, which was called into question again yesterday, and his vice presidential pick will almost certainly be topics of discussion.

They are hoping for a “Catie Curic” event again.
I can’t imagine the torture of having to endure 5 back to back interviews with these network “journalists”. One of the many reasons I’d never run for president even if I was in those circles. I’d prefer to be a behind-the-scenes operative.
Mitt, why do so many of “the very conservative voters in the U.S.” not like you? That should be one of the questions asked. Mitt could blow it with all of these interviews with the left, who will, always, be trying to tear him apart, now that Mitt is the final GOP choice for ‘12 POTUS. Mitt’s “putting his foot in his mouth” moments are painful, and they are not helping his cause, either.
“Mitt, what gives you the right to breath?”
Serious question here....Did Romney campaign with Romney? McCain was up for Republican Nominee in 2008 because he came in 2nd place in the 2000 primary. Romney is up for Republican nominee in 2012 because he was in second place at the 2008 primary. Santorum is our next nominee THANK GOD!!!!!! We just have to survive the next four or eight years......
Oops. I meant did Romney campaign for McCain....
This is what makes me think Mitt has a much better chance to win than McIgnoramus....Mitt is giving an interview in or near the same cycle as Obamugabe. Obamugabe’s ‘thunder’ from his asskiss-fest from Charlie Rose on SEE BS news will be forgotten as Mitt makes a media blitz.
By doing this, Mitt takes the oxygen away from Obamugabe’s media attention.
Nice.
On CNN at 6 Eastern.
Yes he did. Many times Romney traveled with McCain.
Also on “Special Report” on Fox News Channel. 6pm.
Thanks! I will give him credit for doing so.
Be still my beating heart.
Mythers to speak!
Out loud!
To journalists!
Who would have thunk it?
Not in a presidential campaign!
Shocked! There is gambling in the house!
Mr Romney, have you always hated black people?
The news reporting of the alphabet networks is garbage.
They’re all loading up now, planning to shoot for an `I gotcha!’ moment so they can preen at their cocktail parties tomorrow night.
Television gerbalists are the scum-of-the-earth.
Anyone interested in reading a good fictional demonstration of how they operate, check out Tom Wolfe’s `Ambush at Ft. Bragg,’ one of several stories in his book `Hooking Up.’ It may be on-line, a story of how a `Dateline’-type crew ambushed three Army Rangers.
We’ve seen some recent instances of the disgusting partisan bias they exhibit: editing, quoting out of context, slanting, emphasis, etc.
And they have the temerity to claim impartiality like a badge of honor, as if they were 4th Estate priests, professionals subject to rules of responsibility, FR’s bitch, Demo-political hack Dan Rather even still.
Their fathers were hamsters and their mothers smelled of Ripple wine, I shake my naughty bits in the faces of their programming directors, ha ha, ho ho.
I caught 5 minutes of the drought and 10 minutes of the fear of the number 13 on ABC. Was there something I missed?
Yeah, those are much more important than the Obama campaign lying. Axelrod is incapable of that.
Unlike McCain, who did everything but campaign for Obama, Romney better be 100% ready to counter all the thuggish Chicago tactics or he won't win.
