As much as I dislike Obama, it's not correct to say nobody remembers him. One professor, Michael Baron, has talked to the media about Obama's work in a Columbia honors seminar. A guy named Michael Wolf, who went on to become an executive at MTV, claims to remember Obama from Columbia. There are a few other bits and pieces from Columbia - but Obama certainly wasn't well known there.
