CNSNews.com) – Vice President Joe Biden, speaking to the NAACP annual convention in Houston, Texas, said Thursday in his opening remarks that “flattery is all right as long as you don’t inhale.”
“You know what they say: Flattery is all right as long as you don’t inhale. You keep this up, I’ll start inhaling,” he said, responding to enthusiastic applause.
In his 1995 autobiography, “Dreams of My Father,” President Barack Obama has admitted to smoking marijuana.
Biden said that the Republican Party has changed from what it used to be.
“And by the way, this ain’t your father’s Republican party,” he said. “Remember working with Republicans on Motor Voter, on expanding the franchise on early voting, on voting by mail.
“Some of these were Republican ideas, but this is not the Republican Party view today, not Romney’s. They see a different future, where voting is made harder, not easier, where the Justice Department is even prohibited from challenging any of those efforts to suppress voters,” Biden added.
“I know you know it, but I’m not sure everybody does. The House of Representatives Republicans voted affirmatively to prevent the Justice Department from even investigating whether or not there was voter suppression,” he said.
The vice president asked the audience to imagine what a Romney presidency would look like.
“Close your eyes and imagine. Imagine what the Romney Justice Department will look like. Imagine when his senior advisor on constitution issues is Robert Bork. Imagine the recommendations for who is likely to be picked as attorney general or the head of the civil rights division or those other incredibly important positions at Justice,” Biden said.
“Imagine – and I mean this – this to me is one of the most critical issues in this election. Imagine what the Supreme Court will look like after four years of a Romney presidency.” he said.
“These guys aren’t bad guys. They just have a fundamentally different view,” Biden said.
Biden is a blithering imbecile and an excellent accompaniment to Obama's inarticulate communism. Wake up Americans and stop trying to kill your country and yourselves!
Hard to believe a man can be as stupid as old Joe, much less the VP. The shame is his boss is far worse. We have clueless dolts setting policies and pushing legislation, and either it changes or this nation is cooked.

I then bcame a Republican. Now the Republican party has become and adjunct of the Democrat party.

That might be wrong if the Department of Justice was even the slightest bit neutral on this topic. Instead they have taken the Queen of Hearts motto from Alice in Wonderland: "Sentence first—verdict afterwards".

Maybe not the best (especially on the second amendment) but still vastly better than most other choices. What is amazing is that Bork is still the Dems' epitome of evil 25 years after he was nominated for the Supreme Court. The man is 85 years old so I doubt that he could hold any job other than senator.

Bill Clinton claims didn’t inhale. Joe Biden says he doesn’t inhale. This seems to be a trend for Democrats. Maybe we should have a “Save the Earth Day — Don’t Inhale” which just might cleanse the nation of its most cancerous ideas.
