Mark Levin tells Romney to stop playing it safe and to “pick a damn conservative”, that Condi Rice for VP is a bad idea because we’d be defending Bush policies and Bain Capital all the way to November. He says we have a great conservative bench the he can pull from and that’s exactly what he should do.

I love the idea of Condi as VP. I admire her a good deal.

Condi while very smart is NOT a conservative. But it really doesn’t matter, the republican leadership are all socialists anyway.

Forget condi. Demint, Palin, Gingrich...There are plenty of REAL conservatives to choose from.

Why would Rice be a good choice? She would be a terrible choice. Blacks aren’t going to vote for Romney anyway. Rice is not pro-Israel and she is pro-abortion. She adds nothing to the ticket. I hope the Romney campaign is not dumb enough to pick her.

Demint, Gingrich and Allen West, Alan Keyes

I’d add Paul Ryan but the man is too good and should stay where he’s at. Very valuable there.

RINO Romney picks...

RINO Condi.

This is the formula for certain defeat.

Agreed--Rice would be a terrible choice. She has no elective experience, she is too liberal (when Romney still needs to win over a lot of the conservative base which distrusts him) and I don't think she was that stellar as Secretary of State. (Maybe better than Powell because she wasn't actually disloyal to the President.)

She should stick with what she is good at--academics, music, sports.

Maybe Mitt is getting too much pressure from his wife to pick a woman.

Peggy Noonan thinks she would be a good choice--another reason to think the opposite.

Romney already has a passion deficit. Why on earth bring aboard a VP who is equally passionless, and not a conservative? Bad, bad idea.

Amen! I do wonder if all of this is just a huge smoke screen and designed to redirect everyone’s attention. It is just too carefully orchestrated. First Mrs. R says something about picking a female, then Rice shows up at the big meeting, then the teaser on Drudge. We all know he has some members on his team who are very capable of being devious.

If Romney does pick a Black person as his VP - which I don’t think he will - I would vote for West or Hermann. I would prefer West not only because he is a staunch Conservative but he also has the military experience which is a huge void with Romney. Rice needs to go back to her shoe shopping and piano playing, Rubio and Paul need to stay in the Senate.

Very advisable for the Romney camp to listen to Mr. Levin. Not only in this case but on all things Constitutional.

Condi’s philosophy is right in line with Karl Marx. How can you admire a Marxist? She looks good and sounds good, until you hear what she actually says—and what ideology she stands for-—and BARF!!!!!!

She is on the same wave length as Colin Powell and Zero and Satan.

True, she looks good and if you don’t listen to content, she sounds intelligent. Of course, she thinks exactly like Romney. We need a real Conservative.

Nice try Mark, but you were the guy who helped push Orrin Hatch on Utah and the nation...and he’s a RINO!
