That didn’t take long. It’s amazing what a little light will do to make the cockroaches run for cover.

WRENTHAM The state Department of Housing and Community Development has lifted a ban on American flags at the Wrentham Housing Authority, calling the restriction a mistake.
The move comes one day after residents of the complex were told the state did not allow flags on the outside of the public housing apartments, a decision that led to outrage by residents and politicians.
We were not aware of this decision when it was made, and it was a mistake that is being corrected immediately, Matt Kitsos, a spokesman for the state agency said in a state.
Department of Housing and Community Development policy for local housing authorities includes not allowing displays of private materials in public areas. This does not extend to respectful and safe displays of the American flag.
State Rep. Dan Winslow, R-Wrentham, was among those who complained about the ban.
I am glad that the Patrick administration has now recognized its mistake in banning safe and respectful displays of the American flag from public housing, Winslow said.
But this outrageous event points to an imbedded problem about the attitude and experience of the state employees who made this decision in the first place. Those state employees should be fired immediately for incompetence and their jobs filled by unemployed veterans.
The original ban came after 82-year-old Barbara Marshall displayed an American flag outside her apartment.
Apparently, another resident complained to the state, and the housing authority sent out a notice to all residents saying the state bans flags.
Marshall said she was going to ask U.S. Sen. Scott Brown, a Wrentham resident, for help. Brown responded this morning.
Our flag stands for freedom, and is a symbol of the sacrifice made by our servicemen and women to protect the liberties we enjoy today. Flying the American flag should never be controversial, and no citizen should ever be prevented from doing so. I was deeply disturbed to learn of this misguided decision, and I call on the responsible authorities to undo this regulation immediately.
Ya know, even bums can be patriotic, and I’ll defend to the death any bum who wants to wave a flag. ‘Cause that bum may one day convert and be a fighter at my side when the SHTF and the welfare has become impossible. Bet the Rat and Welfare Party never saw this one coming.
Lift the rock. Watch 'em scurry.
Find the tenant who complained, het him/her a one way ticklet to anywhere, pack their crap and head them out.
Next 4th of July will be at hoot at that complex. The “aggrieved” party will wage a one nut campaign!
Get prepared - the anti-Christmas nuts are probably gearing up already.
With tiny bubbles forming at the corners of his mouth . . . LOL!
Ah, but I'd have to move north, wouldn't I?
Scott Brown played a big part in this as well. Where is lyin’ lizzy?
Mary Kennedys’ body dug up and moved without the knowledge of her siblings.
