Vice President Joe Biden addressed the NAACP Convention today in Houston and according to the National Journal.....hardly anybody cared to show up to hear him talk, at the beginning of his remarks anyway.
Rain is being blamed for low attendance.
Rain may have been a valid excuse if the majority of NAACP convention attendees weren't staying right down the street, a seven minute walk or three minute drive, from the George R. Brown convention center at the Four Seasons Hotel.

I’m surprized more people didn’t show. Hearing Biden speak would be like a free sitting at a Comedy Club.

We’ve had horrible weather - rain, rain, rain - all the while the NAACP has been here. That could be one reason why the seats are empty. Also, it’s Joe Biden speaking.
To: SeekAndFind
If it’s an NAACP venue, I am sure that at least 95% of the attendees wouldn’t know who Biden is!

Rain is being blamed for low attendance. Wrong, the attendees were required to have a state or federal issued photo ID.

Where's Sheila Don't-You-Know-Who-I-Am Jackson-Lee?!? Surely, her chauffeur could get her to a back door with a covered awning so she wouldn't melt. Empty like his brain.

IN what part of Houston are you? Any flooding in your area? It’s supposed to rain through next Wednesday.

Rain? Everyone attending had to walk, or ride in an open horse and buggy?
