A major aspect of the liberal agenda is to use international treaties to undermine American sovereignty and liberty, as well as to loot Americans on behalf of global socialism. Among the most outrageous of these is the Law of the Sea Treaty, which calls for potentially $trillions of dollars of American wealth to be redistributed to other countries. Another is a small arms treaty that would infringe on the Second Amendment.
The internationalist (i.e., anti-American) Obama Regime requires help from the Senate to impose these treasonous treaties. Dont think they wont get it even from Republicans. Appallingly, 18 Republican Senators are reportedly at least considering signing off on LOST: Mike Enzi (WY), Kay Bailey Hutchison (TX), Mike Johanns (NE), Kelly Ayotte (NH), Lindsey Graham (SC), John McCain (AZ), Dick Lugar (IN), Mark Kirk (IL), Olympia Snowe (ME), Susan Collins (ME), Lisa Murkowski (AK), Johnny Isakson (GA), Chuck Grassley (IA), Rob Portman (OH), Bob Corker (TN), Thad Cochran (MS), Scott Brown (MA), and Lamar Alexander (TN).
LOST represents not only a massive looting spree at American expense, but a severe encroachment on our national sovereignty. All Democrat Senators are expected to back it, confirming that their party is not just misguided but aggressively hostile to the USA, which it is in the process of destroying from within in the name of a oligarchical collectivist ideology absolutely opposed to our countrys founding principles.

Oh man.. almost everyone of those Senators listed has been or is currently a member of the Republican Main Street Partnership. The GoP has a cancer and it is the moderates, the lukewarms, the GATT-a-longers ..

MItt used to have his name listed alongside aRnie.
They say you can tell a lot about a person by who they hang with.
It’s why I stopped supporting the R party long ago.
Those who continue to do so, clearly have political battered wives syndrome, as they drag their abused, broken beat up bodies back through the door, for another round of beat down.
I did the same. Unfortunately, I do not have great hopes that either of these RINOs will defend our Constitution.
Old news at best. 31 Republican Senators have announced opposition to LOST. 16 in favor or undecided.

“”Senators who have either signed the letter of opposition to the treaty or verbally declared their opposition are DeMint, Vitter, Inhofe, Coburn, Paul, Chambliss, Rubio, Kyl, Cornyn, Lee, Sessions, Hatch, Crapo, Burr, Coats, Hoeven, Johnson, Roberts, Blunt, Boozman, Risch, Barasso, Shelby, Thune, Wicker, Jim Moran, Heller, McConnell, Toomey, Isakson, and Grassley.
The 16 Republicans who are either undecided or who have declared in favor of LOST are Ayotte, Graham, McCain, Murkowski, Hutchison, Brown, Alexander, Corker, Snowe, Collins, Cochran, Kirk, Lugar, Enzi, Johanns, and Portman.””
Ayotte as well was rumored to be Romney’s female pick for VP. I swear there is a disease rampant in Wash.D.C.! Far worse than the much spoken of “Potomac Fever!”
Isakson is now on record as voting no.

Agreed. The U.N. is of no further use to the U.S. In fact, it is a drag on the U.S. The only way out of the U.N. is if the people demand it.
I just got off the phone with Isakson’s office and they insist he does NOT support LOST. He voted against it in 2007 and has not changed his mind, per the phone answer babe. He is also against the UN arms grab.
Charlie, you're scaring me. A "true conservative" should understand that the House has no input at all in the ratification of treaties.
The Constitution provides for the Senate to approve or reject a resolution of ratification ... approval requires a 2/3 majority.
Start paying closer attention, it's important.

Imagine that! Threatening these two works...Backsliders still though. They’re like a couple of two-year olds you have to constantly watch and correct. I’m getting tired of it. Time for some younger, stronger conservative blood here come the next Georgia Republican Senatorial Primary.
KBH is a lost cause. She is leaving the Senate in January so she could care less if she destroys the nation before she leaves. It’s the politicians way.... :-/
Loudly...
“Rob Portman (OH),”
....and he is on the list for VP. I hope for the sake of the country he is not picked.
You may want to read this reply of mine to disabuse yourself of that 2/3 notion, tx_eggman.
In case you didn't know, tx_eggman, 2/3 of Senators present can ratify a treaty.
And you're worried about some else's status as a "true conservative" because of a statement?!
A "true conservative" should understand that the House has no input at all in the ratification of treaties.
I note that Rob Portman, who is being flogged as a potential VP for Romney, is on the list.
Kay Bailey Hutchison too? Shouldn’t surprise me, but GOD, it galls me! Wonder what she’s getting to betray the nation?
Kay Bailey Hutchinson responding to my note yesterday said this vote wouldn’t come before Senate before next year. Said her term would be over before vote.
