BEIRUT: A Hezbollah delegation visited Cuba and Venezuela last week and met with a number of parliamentarians and officials, the party’s press office said Wednesday.

The visit came in response to an official invitation by the head of International Relations Division of the Central Committee of the Cuban Communist Party, José Ramon Balaguer.

At one point, the delegation, which comprised Loyalty to the Resistance Party MP Nawwar Sahili and head of Hezbollah’s International Relations Department Ammar Musawi, visited the Santa Clara tomb of Ernesto "Che" Guevara, the Argentinean Marxist revolutionary icon, where they laid a wreath.

Musawi was quoted by the Hezbollah press office as having praised the “Cuban experience in resisting American hegemony,” which he held up as “a model for all countries and peoples in how to challenge policies of hegemony, arrogance and plunder.”

The Hezbollah official also commended Cuba's historical stances in defending the Arabs’ rights in their conflict with the "Zionist enemy" and the country’s support for the Palestinian cause.

He also participated in the Sao Paolo gathering for international leftist parties and forces in Caracas, Venezuela, on July 3 and 4, in which many issues of international concern were discussed.

Musawi met with several participants, including Venezuelan Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs David Velasquez, with whom the Hezbollah MP discussed his party's view of regional development and what he described as the “vicious attack on Syria.”

President Obama Downplays Threat Posed by Iran/Venezuela Axis

Over the past two years, I’ve repeatedly documented the threat posed to America’ s national security by Venezuela’s alliance with Iran. Make no mistake: Iran and Hezbollah have a serious presence in the Western hemisphere. The U.S. is squarely in their crosshairs. And Hugo Chavez is assisting them every step of the way (not to mention his active participation in the trans-Atlantic drug trade). But never fear! According to President Obama, Chavez is not a serious national security threat. And Iran spreading its tentacles to America’s very doorstep? Meh. Completely oblivious or willfully blind? You be the judge. Here’s more, from the Miami Herald:

Oscar Haza, a well known Miami Spanish-language broadcast journalist and anchor, scored an interview this week in Washington with President Barack Obama in which Obama said Venezuelan President Hugo Chávez has not posed a “serious” national security threat to the United States.

The full interview aired Tuesday night on A Mano Limpia, Haza’s nightly show on WJAN-Channel 41, better known as América TeVe. The show had shown portions of the interview Monday night, with Haza live in D.C., and teased to the president talking about Cuba and Venezuela...

Haza asked about the alliance between Venezuelan President Hugo Chávez and Iran.

“We’re always concerned about Iran engaging in destabilizing activity around the globe. But overall my sense is that what Mr. Chávez has done over the last several years has not had a serious national security impact on us,” Obama said. “We have to vigilant. My main concern when it comes to Venezuela is having the Venezuelan people have a voice in their affairs, and that you end up ultimately having fair and free elections, which we don’t always see.”

Marco Rubio and Mitt Romney are already tearing into Obama for these statements—and with good reason. If the Romney camp is smart, they will haunt Obama with this until Election Day. By the way, remember this nice little bro-shake? Click on the viewer below for my report on Iran, Hezbollah and Chavez.

Clearly this is a false report, since Dear Leader just informed us yesterday that Chavez is no threat to US security.

Does anyone have the feeling that King Obama supports the closing in around America of those that have vowed to kill us? Cuba and Venezuela should have been purged a long time ago. They will be puppets of Hezbollah who will eventually own them.
