I thought it might be interesting to see which right-of-center websites actually receive the most traffic. So, I went to Alexa.com and ranked the 50 sites on the right. Do keep in mind that
1) Alexa doesnt distinguish between top level domains and their sub-directories. So, for example, a blog on Townhall and Townhall itself would have the same rating. Additionally, websites hosted at places like Blogspot, which list each blog on a sub-directory, cant be measured. My guess is that it only knocked 2-4 websites max off the list including Ace of Spades HQ, Gateway Pundit, & Big Hollywood.
2) Although I have found Alexa to be generally accurate, it does occasionally make mistakes and certainly isnt as on target as a statistics tracker.
3) I didnt deliberately leave any right-of-center websites off the list, including the Libertarian websites. So, if you are supposed to be on list and werent included, feel free to send me an email.
All 50 websites are listed with their Alexa rank following their link. So for example, a 1″ would mean the page was the most popular website on the net. A 100,000″ would mean the 100,000th most popular page on the net. With that being said, lets go ahead and take a look at the rankings.

Update #1: Jihad Watch emailed to note that theyre at 29,887. That would put them at #26. Sorry, I missed you, guys!
Update #2: Canada Free Press is at 73,555 which would put them at #55 on the original list.
Update #3: The great thing I have found about doing these lists is that if you miss a site, by the end of the day, someone will be sure to let you know about it =D Here a handful of other websites that were missed.
The Ron Paul Forums is at 29,341, which means they would have come in at #25 on the original list.
Onenewsnow ranks at 9,388, which would have put it at #12.
PS: Ive had a couple people suggest that Infowars should be on the list, but I consider that to be a loony, anti-authority conspiracy site more than a conservative website. Others may disagree.
Update #4: The Business & Media Institutecomes in at 79,500, which would have put it at #58.
Wonder where the DUmmies are on the list of most Marxist websites. Can’t be very high, because every time I peek in, they’re lucky if a post breaks 1 digit in number of replies.
Buuuump for more New Monthly Donors!
I wonder why they left TheBlaze off the list. It would come in at 4.5 (Alexa ranking 1,332)
Since when is Drudge a "conservative web site".....and from what I've seen of TheBlaze, it's a shopping site...covered up with ads and a huge pop-up trolling for members to get past. Thank God for FR with no advertisements.
7) Free Republic: 3,988
55) Republican National Committee: 73,599
HA! Take that eGOP!
My tagline has been the same since the tagline feature was added.
...from what I've seen of TheBlaze, it's a shopping site.Always has one of those ads you have to close covering 1/2 the top of the page.
Then when that one is gone, up comes a pop up.
That is when I close the window and don't read their tripe.
I'm surprised the FreeperBeaters who post over and over again on blogs (hijacking) just because they hate them don't complain about sites like the Blaze.
Oh, that's right they aren't blogs, so ads are ok.
Since when is Drudge a "conservative web site"..... Thank God for FR with no advertisements.
Since when is RealClearPolitics a conservative site? They offset every conservative article with a liberal article. They are about as nonpartisan as it gets and all my PoliSci profs referenced them. They sure as hell wouldnt be telling their students to get info from some conservative webpage.
Check into your browser settings. I don’t get any ads and there are ad-ons for your browser so you can skip most ads.
Good Hunting... from Varmint Al
I could draw up such a list and put FreeRepublic at the top, or bottom, of it. Just depends on how many RINO sites I stuffed in ahead of FR. It’s all about manipulating the data. A lot of sites on this list don’t belong on it. By almost any objective measure, FR is number one.
Wow X, I would have thought (according to TBL) that FR would be like 1000 and they would be 1.
Thanks very interesting.
my first thought too
The Blaze has regular gossipy links too for those who are celeb addicted
i’m assuming they considered it a sub site to Glenn Beck
not sure if it is?
Rush 10th ..
Beck 15th ..
Hannity 22nd ..
O-Really 35th ..
Oh My!!
Just imagine what FR could do on a spiffy server farm..
Some folks don’t see the value of a buck, but fortunately many still here do.
FR is a survivor.
To those who care about this nation’s direction, morally, economically, and politically trend-wise.. cough it up .. before Obama gets it.
GiDDyUP!
good point
Please claim the political DEAD CENTER for CONSERVATISM! That is my only real disagreement with Barry Goldwater who staked out the right in his book, Conscience of a Conservative, which I’ve had a copy of since 1963. If conservatism stands for the long-term stability and security of the Union then it MUST claim the center. The Right has always been “status quo” and the left has always been upside down revolutionary. Conservatism, as practiced by me anyway, stands for preservation of the Union with overwhelming strength and stability.
Some think conservative means GOP and not challenging the status quo. In this vein, others think conservativism is ‘beating’ the Marxists by turning over federal money and unconstitutionl powers to global corporations, police and the military ‘to keep us safe’ with a ‘strong economy.’
Free Republic rejects the false choice of ‘conservative’ fascism and ‘liberal’ Marxism. It promotes a third way -American-American constitutional political ideology and it’s social ideals, ethics and culture. It is as radical or extremist to today’s GOP and DNC control freak Globalists, as were the founders and their constitutional Republic of the United States to globe trotting King George.
America is exceptional among Nations for as long as America is independent, free and good. Free Republic aims to remind the modern corrupt, power hungry elitists of American exceptionalism, preserve it and hand it down to future generations of Americans.
Thank you for this great Index!
Well stated Sara!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
LLS
Yeah, I was surprised that they were absent from the list. I go there often, and they seem to make a lot of news (ACORN and Anthony Wiener).
This has to be a joke, right? Not its ranking but the fact that it's listed as a conservative site.
