And Obama would rather not be the head cheerleader at a black ogranization in the run up to the election given his declining support from whites who still make up 66% of the electorate. it is about optics.
I think Romney handled his NAACP speech very well.

Why would Obama “duck” a lovefest? He owns their vote. Accusing Obama of ducking the NAACP is like accusing Romney of ducking Utah? This reporter needs to find a new line of work, one that does not require logic.
