No immigration bounce for President Obama

President Obama’s announcement of his support for relaxed enforcement of immigration laws on the children of illegal immigrants has not provided any lift for him on the issue according to the new Washington Post-ABC News poll.

His approval rating on dealing with immigration issues is no better (nor worse) than it was two years ago, and he runs evenly with former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney on who people trust to handle the issue. Fewer than one in five voters — 18 percent — say immigration is an extremely important issue in their vote. In the Post’s key eight toss-up states — which include burgeoning Hispanic populations in Colorado, Florida and Nevada — Obama’s disapproval on immigration still tops 50 percent. And he does not enjoy any wider lead over Romney on the issue in those states than in any others.

Polls in specific swing states indicate that Obama’s shift on immigration policy, while widely popular, could be a net vote loser come November. More than twice as many voters said the policy made them less rather than more likely to support Obama in June Quinnipiac University polls in Ohio and Pennsylvania — despite the fact that over half of all voters in those states support the policy

There are so many important issues in this election it isn’t surprising that 18% only call it a primary issue.

To me the Primary issue is the Constitution, and it’s preservation,Obamacare, Then there is Obama and Hillary supporting the LOST treaty and the UN gun theft, the Muslims and Obama’s support of them, The economy, and unemployment,our prestige in foreign countries under the man who bows.The debt, and printing of money with no backing,in effect just about everything Obama has touched has turned to S**t.
Certainly illegals are a problem , our borders are not secure.These people driving around drunk and killing people in auto accidents, Hispanic gangs. We have already paid a fortune to educate illegals through grade and high school, now they want college, and let’s not forget the destruction of our military through cuts and Homosexuals.

There are so many priorities that to name one comes down to this.

GET RID OF OBAMA, then hold Romneys feet to the fire and make him perform. Get rid of RINo’s who are as bad as Democrats.

With his own campaign promises. If he wins, he’ll want to be re-elected. We have plenty of leverage. We just need to use it.

We have to be willing to put in some time.

We have to be willing to march on Washington and let the powers there see that they only stay there by doing what we ask.

We have to be willing to do as the liberal rent a crowd does.

Sitting on our asses and wasting time with emails and the form replies we get from them won’t cut it.

That strategy doesn’t WORK. The democrats just run Stalin V2.0 then we vote for anything wearing an elephant bumper sticker.

There is no “holding feet to fire”. There is only “you get what you got”.

If we could get all of our people interested in primaries, that’s about the only reasonable hope left for civilization right now.
