Palin is undamaged.
She would be a BRILLIANT pick.
To: Sacajaweau
ahhh, No.
The convention has not been held as yet, and the nomination has not been awarded.

VP giving speeches in Spanish? Do we have to press ‘1’ to hear them in English? No thanks.
To: svcw
“Romney has not been nominated, how can he (legally) pick a VP before the convention?”
The FIX was in before January this year.

Romney spend energy on destroying her, why would he pick and why would she accept.
Besides, if she chooses anything it would be president.

“Romney is the nominee.”
You don’t need to remind us.

Newt knows HOW to get things done in Washington.
My next choice is Perry but the party wants to make sure they capture Florida.
Romney needs a southerner.”
Yes, indeed.

Romney has not been nominated, how can he (legally) pick a VP before the convention? So what? He can pick someone even if he weren't running. Is there a law against choosing a running mate in an election?

I like Rubio, but since he’s an anchor baby, he’s not qualified to be Prez.

...or he may not.
AP said he would pick in early June.
And yes it is legal to pick a veep before the nomination is official — just like it is legal for him to be president even though his dad was born in Mexico.
To: Cobra64
No, there’s no law against it, but it’s as unseemly as Callista Gingrich waxing melodic about what a wonderful First Lady she’d make.
To: Free ThinkerNY
Yeah—I can hardly wait to see which stake he chooses to drive into the heart of true conservatives.

Well, that’s good to know. Is Callista going to be Romney’s pick?

He doesn’t need a home run here. He just needs somebody fairly conservative that could bring a swing state possibly. Obama is easy to beat as long as Mitt stays on message and doesn’t wander away from the economy.
