No, the Olive Garden is a put down a NOT a joke.
When the USS Ronald Reagan sailed into her home port of San Diego on her maiden voyage, Jim and a whole lot of CA FReepers came to San Diego to meet our San Diego Chapter.
The Olive Garden Restaurant was selected because of its location and its willingness to accommodate the very large group of us. They graciously put several tables together so that all of us could be seated at one very long table with Jim at the head of the table. Also because it had a cocktail lounge for those who cared to enjoy a pre-dinner cocktail.
Joseph Perkins, the San Diego Union Tribune syndicated writer attended with his wife and all of us had the grandest time.
For unknown reasons, anti-FReepers decided the Olive Garden was unfit, so FReep em.

No, Mr. Yam, I dine out at the Olive Garden at least three or four times a week and twice on Sunday. And guzzle a gallon of wine each and every time. /sarc (the sarc tag is posted for the benefit of those who, like Yam here, live in or within the influence sphere of Yorba Linda)
Besides, I much prefer the Red Lobster.
Why don’t you move on over to TBL, Yam? You’d fit right in.

How much of the forum is, as some claim, hard to use on your beeber like debice?

Yes, but those folks are idiots. The Olive Garden is just fine. We had the best time and the food was good too. It was at the Midway/Rosecrans location, near Point Loma. Easy to find for everyone and near the Port of San Diego.

Someone there did an analysis and posted the results. 259 of the posters there have less than 5 posts and many have none. They just signed up to read or to use the search feature. So of the 500 or so posters they have over 1/2 are there to watch the freak show. And, as somebody else noted above, probably a lot of those "registrations" are freepers who registered to protect their FR handles.

Greta's monotone and long-winded questions began to turn me off several months ago. Greta Van Susteren's embrace of L. Ron Hubbard's cult is alone sufficient for any thinking person to not take her seriously.
Like Tom Cruise and Jon Travolta, she's a reasonably skilled actor and possesses some disarming charm that appeals to some. My hope is that her relationship with Sarah Palin will result in Greta Van Susteren's rejection of this evil cult and a conversion to Christianity.

I have zero trouble with my beeber-like debice. I run the SCOTUS ping list from it, no trouble with images, fonts, or any such thangs.

The next time you eat out anywhere, please use MY money to pay for your meal and a few glasses of wine. Many years ago there was a legal action against FR and the donation page actually offered donating freepers the option of designating their donation to fight the lawsuit or specifically to NOT use the donation to fight the suit. (I believe I'm remembering that correctly...)
Anyway, every time I've made a donation to FR over the past decade+ I've always put in the "comments" section of the donation page, "This donation can be spent in any way Jim Robinson wants to spend it." I mean that literally.
