Did my Basic there, think it rained every day. Flew us up from San Francisco, Bussed us there from Hayward, California. I was so Scared, never will forget. Kissed Wife goodbye climbed on bus from recuiting station Oct, 26, 1966, thought I would never see Her again. At that time it was just called Ft. Lewis.
