New TSA Rules: Passengers Must 'Freeze on Command'?
Gather.com ^ | July 7, 2012 | Jim Kane

According to possible new TSA rules, air travelers may be compelled to "freeze" when ordered to by screeners.

The federal safety agency has yet to comment on this policy, but an airline passenger claimed agents recently practiced a drill on his wife.

"We heard a "freeze, freeze" or something like this coming from the output side of security (where my wife was), followed by further barking of commands," the man said.

"It turns out they were doing a new drill. They want all passengers to freeze on command. My wife told me later that she didn't follow this order fast enough, so the subsequent barks I heard were directed at her," he added.

Now, this anecdote has not been confirmed by the safety agency, so it should remain in the rumor zone at this point. But, considering all the crazy TSA rules, would anyone be surprised if it were true?

Could you have imagined, a decade ago, that you would be forced to submit to naked imaging just to get on an airplane? Or that young children would be groped by strangers in uniforms?

There is no compelling evidence these absurd TSA rules do anything to thwart terrorism. Just recently, the agency announced that screeners now have the right to test beverages purchased by travelers, even after the people have gone through security. How much more of this can people take?

Well, too bad for deaf people or people who don’t speak English. They’ll just be shot, I suppose...

So now what, they are going to tax us if we refuse to play red light green light with them?

It's all silly and insulting. They will push and push. They will get more and more ridiculous. They want people to freak out -- they are looking for someone at an airport to kill 3 or 4 TSA guys.

That's when they kick it into high gear. They will push us until we give them "permission" to put on the black uniforms 24/7.

If they think their little Hitler attitude will get me to “freeze” on command like a dog. I’ve got a pretty good “go die away from me” glare, and if that doesn’t work, I have a foul mouth too. And more than that...

The Feds are a bigger threat to these United States than any group of 7th century ragheads with fan belts wrapped around their scalps.

Screw them, I refuse to fly.

Whats next, removing Obamataxcare individuals that refuse to play along from flighte?

If you resist the ACA would TSA take a more detailed inspection of you?

I was thinking the same thing... I don’t hear that well myself. Maybe they should sign too.

Same here - Boycott flying until this madness stops. I have no sympathy for those who allow themselves or their child(ren) to be groped and worse. Anyone who thinks this all about keeping us “safe” are bigger fools than the TSA goons.

Will travelers have to provide their own dog for TSA to shoot, or will the airlines have to provide one?

Gale: “Alright you hayseeds it’s a stickup! Everybody freeze. Everybody down on the ground. (Long pause)”
Hayseed: “Well, which is it Young Feller? You want I should freeze or get down on the ground? I mean to say, if’n I freeze I can’t rightly drop. And if’n I drop, I’m gonna be in motion. Y’see...”
Gale: “Shut up!”
Hayseed: “Ok then.”

Yes. Have also read Milgram in Obedience to Authority.

If enough people really understood them they’d be revolutionary tracts rather than dated research.

They are already doing this when you walk into the TSA scanners as they bark — ‘Come in with your hands up and freeze’.

It keeps getting worse, seemingly without limit, without end. Half the agencies in government should be abolished, half the taxes jettisoned and half the spending curtailed. And that’s without any consideration whatsoever given to to the matter. You could go much further. *Sigh*... Well, there’s my platform if I’m ever so lucky as to get to run for president!

You KNOW the law is not aimed at terrorists but at civilians when 90% of the weight of the provisions fall on the shoulders of innocent people and not on terrorists. We better turn this around or we will soon be whispering about the “disappeared ones,” as they do under other murderous regimes.
