I've been saying it for years. "Moderates" are nothing but lying, manipulative, bottom feeding, scum. They'll happily throw a race to the democrats only to say they told you so and run someone even more liberal next time. In my opinion, they're even worse than democrats because they don't even have the courage to be openly socialist.
