Huh? That’s news to me! I geve my AR to my brother in Texas when I moved here several months ago because I thought it would be illegal to own here in CA.
Yes, your AR would have been illegal. But if you had been a kalifornia resident prior to 2000 and had owned such a weapon, it would have been legal for you to own it.
I am a native Californian and have lived here my whole life other than my time in the Corps. I admit I don’t know all of their stupid laws and I don’t care. I am sure that I own and use some weapons that the state considers illegal so tough sh#t, come and find them and prove it. I will continue to shoot what I want when I want and as much as I want.
It is just a horrible shame that I lost all of those wonderful weapons in a terrible boating accident on a very large and deep unnamed lake here in northern California. PROVE THAT I DIDN’T. To the state of California, “FU#K OFF”.
