Let's see... are they still letting catering, cabin cleaning, aircraft maintenance and baggage handlers walk around the security points and through ticketing to directly access the tarmac? They were at LAX when I quit flying in 03. They told us they were "spot checking" the ramp, so they didn't need to go through security. Right. Plus, they were hiring loads of illegal aliens at that time. But there is no cause to be concerned. Let's strip search the passengers and stick our fingers in their drinks (and other places) while we leave the back door wide open. Remember that scene from Airport where security is manhandling that little old lady while Ahmed and Mohammed run through the metal detector carrying large pieces of weaponry? It's not funny anymore.
Until they close the border, this Kabuki Theater at the airport is bullsh!t.
