Every citizen of the United States is now a slave to the government.
Will Chris Rock please take the time to show us a majority black country - run by blacks - that’s free and democratic? We’re more than happy to tip our hats to those who do it better.
Please Chris - show us the place....
Whatever......in any event this “white people” is always going to celebrate it and if you don’t like it Chris then keep your bitter black a** away from me cuz I don’t want to listen to your incessant whining......punk.
Yep. And they also conveniently forget the alternative. Their ancestors wouldn't have been brought to America. They would have either been sold by Obama's ancestors into other slave markets or, more likely, simply been exterminated in tribal warfare.
Even boxing great Mohammad Ali understood that much when he returned from the famous "rumble in the jungle" (boxing match in Congo) back in the 1970's.
Reporters asked him what he thought about Africa, and the first words out of his mouth were "Thank God my great-great granddaddy boarded that slave ship!"
by reminding his followers that slavery continued for many years after the Declaration of Independence was signed.
And yet, after slavery was abolished by the copious spilling of “evil” white man’s blood, these people chose to saty and continue to remain.
**ck the lot of ‘em. And anyone who agrees with the distoreted boolsheet.
They can go back to their African homelands and see how they like it.
Because every country in the world in 1776 was a perfect country with no slaves or other maltreated citizens or subjects, isn’t that right Rockhead? What all the very rich leftist idiots like Rock and Cheadle are ignorant of is the fact that that America started out as an idea as well as a tangible reality. Many of the first Americans and the Founding Fathers knew that slavery was evil and worked to eliminate it. Even a number of the FFs who had slaves knew it was evil and would be eradicated one day. And today ignoramuses like Rock etal live like kings thanks to the wisdom of the FFs. But they’re too stupid to realize it.
Have any if the major US networks or papers covered this story? I’m guessing no.
Two words, Chris, Crispus Attucks..........
He should give away all this money he’s made in this evil white man’s system. Think he will or is he just all mouth?
You are aware Lincoln said, "I will say, then, that I am not, nor have ever been in favor of bringing about in any way the social and political equality of the white and black races ... I am in favor of having the superior position assigned to the white race."
They all wouln’t know the real reason for the 3/5 clause it it walked up and slapped them upside the head.
Fredrick Douglas realized it.
If they had thrown out the 3/5 clause and recognized every slave as “whole apportionment” the south would have ran rampant over the House or Represenatives and Slavery would have been enshrined in an amendment and wiother the US would have fallen apart or Slavery and it’s expansion into the teritories would have been blessed.
It is directly BECAUSE of the 3/5 clause that so much american blood was shed to finally end the inhumanity to man that was the forced involuntary servitude known as slavery. Without it slavery may very well still be alive inthe western hemisphere....
The State has been minimizing Independence Day for several decades now. It resembles very little the holiday I remember as a child.
Conveys an unhealthy message from their perspective.
Getting all huffy and offended is counterproductive. It's exactly the reaction they are looking to get.
reminder of past injustices
..........................................................
A reminder of past injustices my ass.
What does Chris Rock know about past injustices. This POS is a friggin millionaire from making fun of his own people.
He uses the N-word like a punch line in a cheap black joke.
He IS a cheap black joke.
*&%$ him and the horse he rode in on.
“...that slavery continued for many years after the Declaration of Independence was signed.”
And, moronic celebrities continue to pontificate more than 200 years after the signing of the Declaration.
