Thankfully Elton has been apolitical for the most part.

He has also had shows for Bush, and private parties with Rush Limbaugh.

I think he is one of the greatest song writers ever.

Yeah, I think he played for Rush’s wedding or something. But, you can bet that capitalism was in play BIG time. LOL!

I agree. He is a gifted entertainer, seems to be somewhat careful about his politcal affiliations and endorsements in general.

I know he’s friends w/Rush, but George Bush? He used to trash and mock George Bush (43?)a lot! Now maybe it was his Dad that E. John gave shows for? I do know that shortly before the end of GWB’s second term, he (Elton John)came to the WH for a medal of some sort. I’ve noticed since then, he’s been really quiet about GWB; he hasn’t said anything ugly about him as far as I know.

But that’s really amazing about him helping Poland bring down communism! Good for him!
