...I’ve watched tons of long time FReepers get zotted and they weren’t all that ‘over the line’....it made me sick to watch those who came en-masse and gloated with full page images and crude remarks.

But, I’m me, I’m a nice person and care about ‘feelings’.

I'm not you...not a nice person and don't care about "feelings", but agree that the end zone dance at zotted long time freepers reflects poorly on those participants as well as FR members in general. The roving band of self appointed "don't paint outside the line" monitors help contribute to a lowering of great conservative intellectual discussion.

I read TBL and find most of the discourse to be civil and informative. It's easy to avoid religion and anti-FR areas. I'm allowed to state my opinions without being banned or abused. There are a few obsessed anti-FR people, but most are simply ABO advocates who don't feel welcome here. My advice, if anyone cares, is to wish them well and move on. It takes two to tango.

I’m old too! I don’t give a rip about those people. The patriots I care about and love are here. FReepers are the absolute best. I learn something new everyday from fellow FReepers.

The whole ‘ABO’ thing comes down to this.

1: Do you consider yourself a conservative?
2: Can one vote for a liberal and remain a conservative?

The ABO crowd thinks they can and have wrecked a number of threads arguing some of the most insane crap you can imagine. One told be today “Who is to say what is and isn’t liberal”? Another told me I wanted some guy named Kardashian Chavez Jr. elected. When you have to resort to that trying to make a point, you lost. And they are lost.

I don’t see how the collective ‘we’ can coexsist when we get slammed for stridently defending our principles - which just happen to be those on the mission statement of FR.

I have no idea. I was not a Quix follower and paid very little attention to his posts unless I was called in via abuse report. He was warned many times not to post his ridiculous UFO and conspiracy theories (especially the 911 truther conspiracy nonsense) to FR and to knock off the constant badgering of the moderators. He refused to back off, so after many, many warnings, suspensions, restrictions, etc, his account here eventually went *poof*. I noticed that it went dark, but just wrote if off as suicide by mod.

To ease his mind, he won’t be invited back.
