Rupert Murdoch Attacks Scientology Because It Once Courted His Son Lachlan

Tweeting first, “Scientology back in news. Very weird cult, but big, big money involved with Tom Cruise either No. 2 or 3 in hierarchy,” and then, “Watch Katie Holmes and Scientology story develop. Something creepy, maybe even evil, about these people,” the News Corp. CEO waded into the morass and basically declared himself Scientology Enemy No. 1.

Many were shocked—why the hell would Rupert Murdoch, of all people, get involved in this? But a close Murdoch ally noted, “He has a long memory and no love for Scientology.”

Lachlan soon terminated his friendship with Cruise and made it clear he would not be joining the Scientology fold. Over the years there has been talk inside the News Corp. building of an “intervention” that Rupert staged to make sure his son didn’t fall into the clutches of the church, but a high-level News Corp. source said, “(Lachlan) is smarter than that.”

Rupert Murdoch, via his rep, Steven Rubenstein, said: “It’s simply not true,” regarding the intervention.

Lachlan told The Daily Beast, “I can confirm, on the record, that I have never considered or close to considered becoming a Scientologist in any way or at any time. The premise of the story is entirely wrong. I probably come close to sharing my father's views about the religion, but I resist tweeting them.”......

Yes, and she is married to a Scientologist who was a Sarah Palin Advisor.

Ah so this explains the weird vibe I get when watching Greta. It always seems like she tries gotcha questions with conservatives, and then softball questions to RINOs and libs and she seem chummy with them whereas her conservative guests she has a stern look and then when the guest gives a common sense conservative answer, she will pivot with a devil’s advocate question, instead of showing a sense of agreement.

Last night even the perfect example, was when Donald Trump was on via phone, he was stating in his opinion, of how he suspects Obama may try to stir up a war with Iran prior to the elections. Then he was stating how oil prices will jump and that we should have demanded cheap oil or free oil from say Libya when we were sending them money and Greta couldn’t refute what he was saying and she just had a sad sack look on her face. You can tell with her never acknowledging conservative points in the affirmative she is a liberal.

Katie Holmes has obviously been paying attention to Tom Cruise’s films, especially his Mission Impossible series. She presented the perfect picture of the doting wife in front of the cameras and apparently even at home, but underneath it all, she was secretly plotting a way out. If Hollywood doesn’t want her, the CIA would do well to hire her as a spy.

Friends are speaking out about Katie’s strategic and methodical planning in the months prior to filing for divorce. Yes, she has been putting a great deal of time into her escape plan. One friend reveals the extent Katie went to, to ensure her privacy and safety in the divorce filing aftermath. “Her inner circle has been planning this and switching out cell phones since she was in China [in mid-June],” explains one insider.

She is cutting Tom and his gang completely out of her life, “When new cell phones arrived, then nobody could reach her. Her old best friends from last week don’t have her new number, no email. She’s unreachable.” She is being very careful and cutting far and wide. She is probably very leery of anybody she did not know before she met Tom.

Operation Escape Tom Cruise could not have been pulled off without the help of the most important man in Katie’s life, her dad. Martin Holmes showed up in New York last week and helped Katie get rid of the people around her who would show allegiance to Tom. She even fired her current publicist and returned to the agency she had before Tom walked into her life.

Hopefully, her stealthy planning will pay off, and she will get to reclaim her life, with her daughter and her protective eye. Katie Holmes is showing she is made of sterner stuff than most gave her credit for.
