The Corpus Christi, Tex. Police Department has found itself on the business end of a civil rights lawsuit after the Justice Department concluded that a physical ability test used when considering job applications discriminates against women. As a condition for employment, new applicants must pass a physical ability test (PAT) involving: pullups, a 300-meter run, a 1.5 mile run, and sit-ups. Only 19 percent of female applicants passed this test between 2005 and 2009, compared to 63 percent of men, the DOJ complaint records. The Justice Department says that the test discriminates

Sad part is, one day one of these “affirmative action” candidates is going to get killed because she couldn’t perform her job. And in the process she is going to get her partner killed also.
Then what happens?
political correctness kills almost as many people as stupidity. unfortunately stupidity doesn’t kill enough.
Worse than her getting killed, something body else,(ie her partner) may get killed because she can’t physically do the job.

Murders should get the DOJ to sue PD’s everywhere on their behalf.

in the old days everyone discriminated daily.
In the store you discriminate against rotten food, you discriminate against overpriced items.
In employment you discriminate and don’t hire the sloppy or dirty ones.
To discriminate is as old as time and is good and natural
is there a test for crossdressers.
Let me have a chick that wants to arrest me for anything.
The trouble is, for every chick hired, 3 burly dudes need to be hired to back her up.

Men must run 2000 yards in four minutes.Women should be able to get by with a 10 minute stroll of 200 yards.
They have to be able to shoot a dog or a disabled vet without having the gun recoil into their faces. It’s just good sense.
Before I retired from the Air Force at the age of 44, I had to run 1.5 miles faster than an 18 year old girl to meet standards.
Would someone please explain this to me?
