Yes, I certainly did say she was. And you were right there with me doing it. We were wrong and that’s life.
The difference is that while I thought we were joking about You, Windflier and myself being Soros lackeys in a nefarious plot to get her elected and taking payment from him to do so, you seem to actually BE a Soros lackey, distorting the truth of how the GOP fully backed ONE candidate in this season to the great exclusion of the rest...including their former Speaker of the House!
George Orwell weeps. Are you SERIOUSLY going to try saying that this race hasn’t been manipulated by the GOP to give us the Lib?
Do you care about your credibility at all?
I have no doubt that the GOPE wanted Romney and actively campaigned for him. Heck, like all politicians they probably pulled on favors from some, but pretending they are some kind of full throated overpowereing unbeatable force is crazy.
The truth of the matter is, we had no good candidate, conservatives split the vote, heck even on FR the acrimony to each others "conservative" almost tore this place apart.
You are simply exagerrating the reason Romney won, and you can't get over it.
Well, get over it, unless you want Hugo Kardashian Chavez Jr for four more years.
When Rick Santorum inexplicably dropped out of the primary race, the truth of the GOP's manipulation of the nominating contest became as obvious as the nose on your face.
Santorum's sole mission was to take enough votes away from the real conservatives in the race (read: Newt), so that Romney could win with a plurality. It's no wonder that he always had a guilt stricken look on his face.
We conservatives make up 40% of the US population. How can anyone believe that the conservative right actually WANTED the most liberal Republican in the fold to be our nominee? It beggars belief.
Trickery and deception was the only way to get Romney across the finish line first.
