Actually, this would be the first time that I’ve successfully grown watermelon. The cantaloupes look great. It takes those little guys a while to mature. There are 5 Jubilee watermelons that look healthy. Only one has the evidence of end blossom rot.
When we had an overabundance of cantaloupes and honeydews in the desert, we’d toss the melon in the blender with some superfine sugar and creme de menthe (sp?) I don’t remember that summer too well, but I remember the smoothies.

Thanks for the advice. I actually have a couple of flowers on one of the cantalope plants, and the rest are growing a bit. The leaves seem small to me; is that normal?

That drink sounds good!
