'I'm a eat you': Crazed naked man high on bath salts threatens to eat police officers as they try to

Newest 'cannibal': Karl Laventure apparently told police he wanted to eat their faces

Laventure appeared out of some woods and was seen running naked around a golf range near Atlanta, swinging a club around his head and screaming.

At first, they tried using pepper spray to stop him, but that left him undeterred.

'He didn't even wipe his eyes, he just kept them open,'

They then turned to their Tasers and though that momentarily shocked Laventure to the ground, it did not stop him.

Trouble: It took several police officers a significant amount of effort to subdue Karl Laventure when he was allegedly high on bathsalts

'We had to Tase him approximately five more times on scene to get him down. It took several officers to hold him down to get him cuffed,'

He was still talking gibberish, cussing, saying he wanted to eat us, other people

The video shows him talking about the deceased rappers Biggie and Tupac, making animal sounds, and continuing to threaten the police officers.

Strong: Police sprayed him with pepper spray and shocked him with a taser five times before they were able to get him on the ground

Interrupted: Witnesses saw a naked Laventure running around the Atlanta Golf Center on June 14 'making animal noises'

Among other things he said "I'm'a eat you. I'll eat you, I don't want to eat you but I will,"

Though they controlled him enough to force him to a nearby hospital, he attacked one of the nurses on the scene and another fight ensued.

There have been a number of 'cannibal' incidents linked to bath salts in recent weeks.

Afternoon. Yes, it’s expensive to keep reptiles, but if you decide you must, you can have a spare tank from here

I went to the Missionaries of the Poor with Sally, James, Vlad, Frank, and Kathleen. Frank can be a pain sometimes.

Awesome! The late Igor and I had one who was rust-colored, and he was one of the best dogs we ever had. Though not a watch dog, Rusty was always between me and whoever was at the door.

He was a 25 point champion, but we got him for free because his owner had back problems and couldn’t show him any longer.

We had to teach him how to play, as he was a show dog.
If I could recommend a dog to anyone, it would be a Siberian husky. They are allergy free, and their coats usually smell like snow!

She’s a good dog. Yesterday she decided she could drink from a cup, which didn’t work out the way she planned, but these things happen. She’s also figured out how to open the screen and sliding glass doors, so we have to keep them locked closed.

No flies on that one! LOL!

How old is she? If I could have a dog, I would be hard-pressed to pick anything I didn’t know about first-hand. Huskies are loveable and loyal, and seem to have a sense of humor all their own. I bet she smiles a lot!

Disabled. The equal opportunity minority that any of us could join at a moment’s notice.

I AM in the disabled minority. It took me 14 years to arrive at that status, but I fought hard for all of those years, and had money taken from me by the government that could have allowed me to have a vehicle.

I could have lived a good life if my income had not been taken by the government. My kids have no idea what I have gone through, and I have no desire to tell them. They can read my journals when I’m dead.

I know.

Not one of us is a moment’s inattention on the road, a slip and fall, an infection, a stroke or an act of malice away from joining you.

Being a PWC, I try very hard to make believe that I am a real person. However, life is not kind to me, and I pretend that I have some things that life has given me to distribute to those who need something more than directions.

Unfortunately, my disability is something that can't be cured. It is what it is, and the Devil take the Hindmost!

Hang tough, Nully... I'm with you all the way!

Do you make your peach iced tea with a mix? Last time I had that was four years ago, and I used an artificially-sweetened peach drink from Wal Mart to flavor homemade iced tea. (The only reason I remembered that is that it was the last time this neighbor came over to borrow some tools and I offered that drink to him while he waited for Mr. Sg.)

You are both very wise people. Although bad things have happened to you, you appreciate your blessings and live in the present. Some aren’t so fortunate. (Brainy and psychologically mature individuals aren’t exactly commonplace.)

What went on w/Frank at the Mission of the Poor event today? Please excuse my memory lapses—I know he’s really young, but exactly how old is he now?

Frank is three. He didn’t do anything major - just was three ;-) - picking up drinks that others had put down, trying to play in the rabbit droppings, clobbering his brothers during prayers, that sort of thing. Sally was helping with cooking, so I was carrying Kathleen around trying to pull Frank out of ... interesting activities ... before a disaster occurred.

I usually buy the peach tea bags and steep them. I make it a lot stronger than tea I would drink hot because I add the ice.

I’ve had Walmart’s peach tea drink and it’s nothing to write home about.
