Awesome! The late Igor and I had one who was rust-colored, and he was one of the best dogs we ever had. Though not a watch dog, Rusty was always between me and whoever was at the door.
He was a 25 point champion, but we got him for free because his owner had back problems and couldn’t show him any longer.
We had to teach him how to play, as he was a show dog.
If I could recommend a dog to anyone, it would be a Siberian husky. They are allergy free, and their coats usually smell like snow!
She’s a good dog. Yesterday she decided she could drink from a cup, which didn’t work out the way she planned, but these things happen. She’s also figured out how to open the screen and sliding glass doors, so we have to keep them locked closed.
I like the way horses smell--like hay. Some people like puppy breath. I've never experienced that because we usually get our dogs as a result of an unknown entity dumping them. All we do is wait--the Creator takes care of the rest. (Some of us are lazy. Crowbar came with more than minimal obedience training. He doesn't always take us seriously, though.)
