House chairman says amnesty violates presidents own rules
Federal immigration authorities have begun granting tentative legal status to illegal immigrants under President Obamas deportation halt and in some cases are even ignoring the administrations eligibility rules to stop deportations for those who shouldnt qualify, according to the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee.
Rep. Lamar Smith, Texas Republican, said hes learned some illegal immigrants who have been in the U.S. less than five years have had their deportations canceled, even though Mr. Obama and Homeland Security Secretary Janet A. Napolitano had listed the five-year mark as one of their criteria.
Mr. Smith also obtained documents laying out how U.S. Customs and Immigration Enforcement (ICE) officers should actively search for illegal immigrants who are apparently eligible to have their cases dropped. Those illegal immigrants then would be granted tentative status.
President Obama is granting amnesty to illegal immigrants behind Americans backs, Mr. Smith said. Although administration officials told congressional offices that it would take 60 days to implement the presidents amnesty plan, internal ICE documents show that illegal immigrants have already benefited from it, even though there are no standards in place.

The Washington Times reviewed the documents, which also included an ICE memo telling illegal immigrants to contact U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, the agency that will judge most of these cases, and which is not taking requests until Aug. 15.
The agency didnt return a call seeking comment, but ICE spokeswoman Gillian Christensen said the policy was always intended to apply immediately to illegal immigrants already in the deportation system which are the ones ICE deals with.

Hey Congress, if you need a few willing constituents deputized to help arrest the basturd, they're a few here who'd gladly volunteer!!
I cannot believe Republicans are so cold toward 29 and 30 yr old undocumented children who cannot speak the language of their native land.
Rules? Since when have rules mattered to Obama or the Democrats? They are exempt from enforcing any laws that they don't like, and can in fact create unconstitutional ones that apparently are OK with the SC. So what are you going to do about it, Mr. Chairman? Nothing, I'm sure.
Yep, it’s for the children. /sarc
Which impeachment? Kagan should be first for overtly breaking the law by not recusing herself. - 28 U.S.C. 455 (b) (3)
So the Republicans are back to their “voter suppression” tricks again—they know it will be harder for illegal aliens to vote if they are deported back to their native country.
The boy is really worried about November. He’s holding on to every foreigner and criminal vote he can get. He knows he’s going to need them. Americans are pissed.
