Obesity=diabetes=heart problems=knee replacements=hip replacements

Sorry, but I beg to differ on some of these. I have bum knees from military service and have had surgery on them. I have had two back operations and now have hip problems, all military related (thus job related). My brother ran up and down a Goodyear tire factory floor for nearly 38 years. He has lost his hearing from all the noise in that place and they said the massive noise did not destroy his hearing. And, he had to have a hip replaced because of the wear and tear from his job. So, choosing all those is wrong. Overweight, etc. Sure. But then you cannot always call diabetes part of overweight. I know people who are slim and have diabetes.

I’m not referring to heroes like you, RA. Thank you for your service.

Yup! I was diagnosed with Diabetes type 1 while in the USAF two years before I was retired and way under my weight limit. I guess dioxin was actually more than a defoliant!
