Former GOP presidential candidate Rick Santorum gave a signal to social conservatives on Saturday: Mitt Romney's "message is sound. It's solid."
On Saturday, Santorum's praise was warm.
"The concern I had - I did, I was very frank about it - was that Governor Romney would track to the middle as so many Republican candidates have done, but I'm not seeing that," Santorum said. "I'm seeing him stand by those convictions that he articulated in the primaries and I'm hopeful."

Honestly I would say Marshal or Hamilton, though neither were presidents. Both of them were very much what we would now call ‘statist’, although they talked a good game about a representative republic.

I appreciate your sentiment, but yeah I am raising my kids and I am sick and tired of these “men” who get on here to whine and moan about the state of the union and expect “someone” to listen to their whining and fix it. So I am telling THEM to get off their fat butts and do something.

Let me put it this way, remember that special operation G. Gordon liddy had to have done?
That's happened to me numerous times ~ can hardly walk anymore.
You want a real man, quit hanging around the Mittbots.
To: Morpheus2009
I keep hearing delusional Conservatives claim they are going to hold mitt's feet to the fire, but I have yet to hear how they intend to do this. Boehner and McConnell are going to press mitt? Really?
They won't even stand up to the won.

Look, the Romney and the Mittbots are immoral people.
BTW, I don't believe in keeping religious beliefs and moral beliefs hidden in the home or church. They belong out there in public. That way folks can compare and contrast them with the drek and dross they otherwise fall prey to in so many organizations.
To: yldstrk
Hmm, no doubt money talks, and there are talkers with money. All i'm doing is telling you how Romney ends up without enough voters to win an election.
He's done that several times before!
To: Kickass Conservative
“those same people are accusing those who are facing that reality and embracing the Republican over Obama of being Romneybots, Romneylovers, Romneyites or Traitors to the Conservative cause.”
That’s because Romney is not a conservative and has no right to the term. He can and will carry the mantle of Republican, that is certain. But allowing him to define himself as a conservative would be 1. a lie and 2. defining conservative leftward. Neither is acceptable.

Perhaps you didn't understand what I Posted, I did not say Romney was a Conservative. Even RINO Republicans know he is one of them.
I said he is the Republican Candidate and half the folks here refuse to do anything to insure an Obama Second Term, or as I like to say, the end of America as we know it.
Please don't put words in my mouth. Romney is a RINO, as was Bush and his Father before him, but he isn't an America Hating, Dog Eating, GD Communist Bastard like Obama.

>”17 million Evangelicals didn't show up in 2008”<
First of all, where do you dig up that number? That's news to me.
Second of all, where were those 17 Million people during the 2012 Republican Primaries when we had a plethora of Conservative Candidates running?
I will give your premise some thought when you can prove the statistics supporting it.
Until then, you are expecting us to believe that these mystery Evangelicals hated McCain and Palin so much that they let an avowed Whitey hating Marxist win the Presidency. Oh man, that's rich...
