Romney had no hand in raising taxes on NH residents. MA income is taxable at the difference between your state tax and MA. NH does not have an income tax so NH residents who earn their income in MA pay the full tax rate and that has been that way for as long as I have been living NH and working in MA, since 1985. The increase is because of the number of people moving to NH but keeping their jobs in MA.

Agree about the rational analysis...That analysis must be based on facts....Have had a difficult time finding materials...
The chart on WIkipedia has the best chart found so far, but the comments lean a bit.
We really do need a longtime thread with either news articles, polls or personal observation to support our candidates and know how to help those in need.
Let's strive for the largest numbers of R seats. If we don't support we can't complain.

>I know you really want to believe this; but Romney will be the WORST person to try to beat Obama (if the Dems decide to keepim at the convention).
Childish - Mitt will be the only threat to Obama & the only one that can challenge him.
There is literally nobody else, so either vote against obam or vote for him.
Its that simple

How mistaken you are.
Mr. ROMNEYCARE is no threat to Obama.
Mr. ROMNEYCARE is OBAMACARE/ROMNEYCARE Death Panels
linked to Wall St and Vulture Corporatism.
Romney is a Democrat RINO in total facade, and
he is HIDING as we all see.

I wouldn't list those states in the same order of likelihood to go to The GOP. I'd put Wisconsin as more likely to go GOP than PA, based on Walker's decisive win in the gubernatorial recall election. Also, I'd put Michigan and Minnesota in the toss-up category as well, and even New Mexico.

The mere fact that the New York Slimes has the race so close means that Romney likely has the real edge at this point nationally. You can rely on a built-in bias to the 'Rats in any Slimes analysis.

IIRC, Bush needed a narrow win for the 4 electoral votes in NH in 2000 to win the presidency. But since he got only 271 electoral votes that year, you could make the argument that every state he carried was decisive.

Florida should be #1 on that list ahead of Va.
I might put unlisted Michigan ahead of PA also cause it’s Romney’s original home state and it’s debatable as to whether it’s more ratty than PA or not. I would call PA lean D.
Wisconsin certainly ahead of PA, looks like it’s close to a tossup.
Colorado slightly ahead of Nevada
Minnesota and NM, no certainly lean D.

I concur, justiceseeker93.
I predict WI, FL, MI, VA, CO and quite possibly NV as states Glove will win.
PA: 60% chance Glove wins it.
Minnesota and NM: Obama states.
I'll say it again: Electoral Vote-wise, this POTUS election should be a blowout on a scale of either 1988 or 1992.
