TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Florida Gov. Rick Scott now says Florida will do nothing to comply with President Barack Obama's health care overhaul and will not expand its Medicaid program. The announcement is a marked changed after the governor recently said he would follow the law if it were upheld by the U.S. Supreme Court.
"Florida is not going to implement Obamacare. We are not going to expand Medicaid and we're not going to implement exchanges," Scott's spokesman Lane Wright told The Associated Press on Saturday. Wright stressed that the governor would work to make sure the law is repealed.

I’ll bet Barry’s boy, Holder, is already writing up the lawsuits. By not bending over for ObamaCare, the states are denying the illegal alien invaders their “constitutional right” to American taxpayer subsidized “free” healthcare. I see it coming. The ‘RATS are so predictable.

At what point do we say that the federal government does not serve its purpose and move on? The feds are opposed to states defending their borders. The feds are preventing us from achieving energy independence. The feds are bankrupting the country. The feds are engaged in unpopular wars and covert operations. If the federal government were to go away, what would the states lose? A space program? A global military presence? I think I could live with that.
And so it begins. Saw more of this on Hot Air today. Seems many governors are refusing to implement. God bless them. They really don’t have much choice but to defy the feds or go belly up in red ink.

What exactly would be the aftermath of this? Could the governor be imprisoned?
Waiting for Gov. Perry to make the same decision. Texas can stand a long time without the federal government.
Now all we need is the other 56 states to do this. /s
