Just following the example of the Sec. of the Treasury! Look at how many o his Cabinet picks had tax problems! They are all dirty, thieving, hypocrites. Can I say that on FR?

Another question, why do these individuals who owe back taxes still have jobs?

They shouldn't. At the very least their wages should be garnished for taxes due.

Oh, the poor souls probably have exorbitant college loans in arrears to pay off and can't afford to pay their taxes is all.

Give them a break for crying out loud, can't we all just get along?

I've been reading a book on the economies of ancient Greece and Rome. The author pointed out that during the time the Roman Empire lasted the bureaucracy increased in numbers and wealth at the expense of the landowners who were the principle source of state income. Further, it was the poorer landowner that was oppressed not the wealthy.

Nothing really changes.

My first question would be, why does it take 1,800 employees to staff the executive office?

Well, let's see now. How many employees does it take to make a dim bulb function? In Obama's case, 1800! That dim bulb still doesn't shine, shuts down often for no good reason, and flickers when most needed to do work. But the ones who put it in, don't want to replace it for a better replacement because darn it, it's their dim bulb. Solution is alepways more employees to see if it gets brighter.

Darn slip of the fingers. Solution is always more employees to see if it gets brighter.
