Gingrich: Obamacare Repeal 'Defining Issue of Fall Campaign'

The Supreme Court ruling in favor of President Barack Obama’s healthcare overhaul will do little to reduce the uncertainty that is preventing employers filling job openings, former GOP presidential candidate Newt Gingrich predicted.

Instead that doubt will continue at least until November when voters will decide whether to install a Republican president and Congress that would repeal the law, he said in an exclusive interview with Newsmax.TV.

Speaking from Italy, the former House speaker said, “Unless the Congress repeals it, it’s going to be law. And unless Obama is defeated for president, it’s going to be law.

“So that guarantees that the uncertainty continues at least until November.

“It also means that those businesses that have refused to hire people because of their fear of the cost of the mandates are going to continue to refuse to hire people.”

Mr. RomneyCARE AUTHORED ObamaCARE/RomneyCARE.

Like GAY MARRIAGE, MR. RomneyCARE created it,
then got the GOPe to forget that, hoping the
entire American public has no memory, too.

WRONG.

I’m of the opinion that this is what it’s going to take to get it through the majority of our citizens heads. The flip side of the coin is this; What happens if Obamacare is repealed? My personal guess is that businesses, (Those that have managed to survive), will be very slow in hiring. Why? I expect that the economy as a whole may be on life support.

Businesses live or die by the bottom line. If there is not enough call for their goods and services then they don’t have the money to hire new employees. Without new employees and their dollars that they have earned going back into the economy then businesses will not have more money flowing back to them.

Catch-22 in other words, the point is that at some time in this cycle the point of no return will be met and possibly passed. After that point there will probably be Chaos both in our private lives and on the streets. I just hope we don’t get to that point, but frankly I’m pessimistic about that right now.

Interesting because Obama said he was going to ignore a decision that didn't go his way anyways....and he would spew that the court is purely political and blah, blah, blah......

The decision has tied his hands and shut his mouth. He's left with nothing bad to say about the courts or the Repubs and his Dem minions are starting to flee.

I do truly believe that Obama is insane....and that he still smokes and that he is (and has been for a long time) on some kind of meds to keep him on a relatively even keel.

GOP 2012 BATTLE CRY: “On June 28, 2012, they shoved ObamaCare down our throat. On November 6, 2012, we’re gonna shove it up their ass.”

I do truly believe that Obama is insane

Absolutely he is insane! And add to that the fact that he hates this country, has absolutely no regard for the law, see business as the enemy, hates white people...

There is NOTHING right with this guy. If he is not removed, he will destroy the country and lead us into a new dark age.

I sure wish those who wasted votes on others would have given them to Newt, instead. I do believe he would have repealed this without any replacement. He’s very pro personal responsibility.

The problem with all of this is that unless and until Romney falls on his sword over Romneycare and admits that it was an error, and why, he has zero credibility on his claim that he will act to repeal Obamacare.

I believe that Newt was the one leader that could have turned our country away from the abyss, intelligently and quickly. I would have voted for Newt.

Good luck, America.
