Written by little Drew M., a sophomore at Alfred E. Neuman HS.

By far his best essay, but of course this is his third try at 10th grade.

Those gutless pussies do need their feet held to the flames, nay, shoved in the coals. Heck, most of the teaparty noobs are already suckling at banker teat...

How many last chances have the Republicans had over the past 20 years? They keep failing but we still idiots that convince themselves the most liberal and untrustworthy Republicans like Mitt Romney are going to save the country.

Bob Dole ran for President claiming that as a Republican Senator he saved Social Security, LOL.

The GOP-E isn’t scared of us.

Frankly, anyone that still believes the GOP is an actual alternative to the Democrats has been living under a rock for at least 25 years.

You may have more faith in the Republican Party than I do. I see no future for us in that repulsive party.

I do understand your approach here, though. Perhaps it would not be a bad idea to give the lowlifes one more chance to make things right. But I really doubt they will follow through.

Then as soon as Mitt takes the oath of office, before his speech no one will care or remember, walk the bill up to him at the podium to sign.

That would be an inauguration to remember...before the speech, Mitt signs the repeal....

The GOP does not get one more chance. The country does not get one more chance. It is done. The USA is Europe. But The USĂ as Europe does not have the great USA to take on its defense and to backstop the socialism of Europe. The USA has removed the medical innovation that our freeish medical system allowed and we had. Medical care worldwide must decline in quality and there is no bottom. There will come a time when there are no more effective antibiotics as there will be no society that is willing or can afford to do the necessary research. World prosperity must decline as he USA socializes its entire economy. There no longer is any economic engine to power the world's progress. If one can get out, go offshore, one can prolong the sense of modernity for a time but after a little time there will remain no pockets of prosperity. Some small countries, perhaps Thailand, perhaps Finland or Iceland, will metamorphise into a freemarket heaven but the great nations, in their dying throes will squash such islands of liberty and promise.

America and Britain each got one last gasp, one last shot at turning their societies back toward liberty and free markets and prosperity, We had Reagan and they had Thatcher. Those two dismantled the great enemy that was the existential threat and undid some of the chains that were bginning to be fastened on the legs of entrepreneurs and industry but by then they were but rare strong individuals in nations of rent-seeking proles and power-seeking elites. There are no more Reagans or Thatchers, or Washingtons for that matter. Our education systems have seen to that. That kind of vision and strength all goes into power seeking and corruption now.
