I was moaning about this this morning and a Conservative friend of mine told me that as much as it upset him too, Roberts went by the “Law”. He did not explain to me exactly what law though. Could this be true that even though we all think the thing stinks, that Roberts did go by the actual law???

Alito, Scalia and Thomas thought it was a horrible decision and wrote dissenting opinions about it. Maybe they are the best arbiters of what we should think.

Of course he ignored the law. He declared it a tax yet a tax law cannot be heard by ANY court unless the tax has been levied and someone has paid it.
