President Obama signaled in our interview that he was prepared to address some of the concerns raised by key Senator Jay Rockefeller, who called the Baucus bill a big middle class tax increase this week.
That means hell support more subsidies for middle class families.
But in our most spirited exchange, the President refused to accept the argument that a mandate to buy health insurance is equivalent to a tax.
Here it is:
STEPHANOPOULOS: You were against the individual mandate
OBAMA: Yes.
STEPHANOPOULOS: during the campaign. Under this mandate, the government is forcing people to spend money, fining you if you dont. How is that not a tax?
OBAMA: Well, hold on a second, George. Here heres whats happening. You and I are both paying $900, on average our families in higher premiums because of uncompensated care. Now what Ive said is that if you cant afford health insurance, you certainly shouldnt be punished for that. Thats just piling on. If, on the other hand, were giving tax credits, weve set up an exchange, you are now part of a big pool, weve driven down the costs, weve done everything we can and you actually can afford health insurance, but youve just decided, you know what, I want to take my chances. And then you get hit by a bus and you and I have to pay for the emergency room care, thats
STEPHANOPOULOS: That may be, but its still a tax increase.
OBAMA: No. Thats not true, George. The for us to say that youve got to take a responsibility to get health insurance is absolutely not a tax increase.

Obama and Pelosi sold this to Congress as not being a TAX. (which we all knew it was) That is how they got it through.
Now that the SC upheld this monster and says it is indeed a TAX, in theory this should Nullify the whole Healthcare package.
Being that only Congress has the ability to impose a TAX, which when Obamacare was passed it wasn't a TAX.
Therefore FRAUD has been committed.
Roberts actually saw through the veiled FRAUD of the Democrats and said it was a TAX, as we all knew it was in the beginning. As much as I hate what has just happened, Roberts actually had no choice, IT WAS/IS A TAX.
Perhaps where he could have done something was in the MANDATING portion, forcing everyone to purchase something they don't want is still, IMO, unconstitutional. Mandates are a TAX any way you want to cut it, now inforce it, OH, I forgot they have the concentration camps at the ready.
Could he have not said, YES it is a TAX, and Congress has the right to TAX, (upholding their rights), BUT Congress MUST go back and re-argue their position, as this was sold to Congress as a NON TAX, therefore FRAUD was committed. Remember the Democrats all stated over and over THIS IS NOT A TAX.
Congress commited FRAUD. Do we have any recourse on this one? I would think that now, every contract we ever signed CAN BE CHANGED at will, i.e. you signed it, but we have the right to make changes on that contract. Sign it, I will fill in the BLANKS later, OK?
Am I making an sense at all? I have not been this angry since LBJ's Great Society, are we there yet?
Check mark Twain's writings.
But we have elections and the voters are responsible for sorting out which politicians remain.
The Supreme Court kicked the can down the road.....and made a very narrow decision with regard to the Feds leving a penalty on the State Governments.
That is what I have heard so far.

Politicians have ALWAYS ( since the Republic was formed ) been less than truthful.
I believe they are in the public domain by now.
Pass them on...

From Saul Alinsky's Stalinist Socialist rules for media.
We are living in an Orwellian nightmare of Stalinism.
Why does the Left need deceit and lies to push their agenda? Why so Stalinist?
Look at the way the Supreme Court men in skirts reversed their decision on homosexuality.
The court CAN overrule an earlier decision (bad or not).
