I am puzzled by Roberts here, as well, but I watched Cavuto today, and he had on a commentator Charles — Dang! I can’t remember his last name right now, but I have seen him quite a few times, and he always leaves me impressed with his knowledge and common sense. His take is that Roberts made his ruling so that the voters would realize that they need to get this awful bill back to Congress to be dealt with. Cavuto told him that it was a crazy idea.
I believe that Roberts is a good guy, so I am just betting he knows something we don’t. Hard to say. Depressing turn of events.
