Murder, dishonesty, irresponsibility, incompetence, cover-ups, lies and distortions and now protection under Executive Order. Sadly, these are all adjectives describing Eric Holder’s tenure as U.S. Attorney General.
Holder’s obstructionist conduct over “Fast and Furious” is a travesty,especially considering that the family of slain U.S. Border Agent Brian A. Terry continues to wait for justice that simply isn’t coming from “the most transparent administration” ever.
This is outrageous, and we’re joining with growing numbers of Americans who are calling for Eric Holder’s resignation. His long line of scandalous decisions from pardoning Marc Rich, to the pardon of 16 Armed Forces of National Liberation (FALN) terrorists, to his condemnation of Guantanamo Bay to refusing to defend the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) and more - demonstrates that he lacks the integrity to carry out the duties and responsibilities as U.S. Attorney General.
We support the efforts of the members of Congress who are calling for Attorney General Eric Holder’s resignation. During his tenure as Attorney General he repeatedly demonstrated a lack of competence, accountability and honesty — culminating in the “Fast and Furious” gun walking scandal.
Throughout the investigation, Holder has been an obstruction to truth and justice. The American people and the nation deserve better from federal officials and to that end, we are adding our names to this petition demanding Eric Holder’s immediate resignation as U.S. Attorney General. We also support the “Contempt Of Congress” vote in Congress against Holder.
Please know that we are carefully monitoring your actions on this important issue.

I’ll believe it when I see it. If Obama, Holder and Biden can openly and fervently threaten the SCOTUS, imagine what they do to their constituents.
The best thing that could come out of this would be for Holder to flip on Obama and decide not to take the fall.
As Instapundit just blogged, now we will be able to LEGITIMATELY claims that a bipartisan majority held Holder in contempt.
RATS are jumping the Pelosi ship and will vote for contempt
against Holder, in a last minute ditch to save their seats.
This vote will NOT BE PARTISAN!
It will be BI-PARTISAN, even worse for Holder.

If 20 Dems vote with Republicans, then that is saying this is as big as Watergate.

Richard Nixon did not knowingly arm enemies of a neighboring state, Mexico, who murdered 200+ Mexican citizens and attacked the Mexican government....all WITHOUT the knowledge of the Mexican government.

The drive-by-media is putting out the tale that “some” Dems may join in this only because the NRA is putting pressure on them. Not because it is the right thing to do. Not in a spirit of bipartisanship or compromise, but just because they are traitorous snakes. Geesh.

This guy is awful in so many ways it’s hard to believe he ever got the Attorney General post.
If 20 donkeys jump, and all the pubbies hold the line, the vote will be 60% for contempt, 40% against - in any other situation, the MSM would call that a bipartisan landslide.

Press conference from March 2009 where Robert Gibbs, former White House press secretary ,Janet Napolitano head of DHS, David Ogden Deputy Attorney General, and Jim Steinberg Deputy secretary of state roll out a new initiative that the “President has directed” which included “ fortifying Project Gun Runner” , and “working with the Mexicans to facilitate Gun Tracing which targets illegal weapons and their sources in the United States”, This operation officially became known as Fast and Furious. During subsequent testimony to Congress, Attorney General Eric Holder denied any knowledge of this operation, then retracted denial of Fast and Furious 9 months later. President Obama also denied any knowledge of this operation and is now using Executive privilege to prevent Congress from seeing any documents linked to operation Fast and Furious. As can be seen from this press conference however, he most certainly knew about it and ordered the operation.
Supposedly they had 31 dimbulbs going along with them, but I had no doubt that the names of those who were leaning against Holder were ringing off the walls with threats from The Party.
