Whos full of hot air?
Mayor Bloomberg wants to maintain his politically correct credentials on global warming but hates to get into a hot car when he leaves an air conditioned building.
The solution his aides came up with could easily have doubled as a stunt on David Lettermans show.
In full view of bemused tourists and other passers-by, workers yesterday performed what looked like a comedy routine: They hoisted a standard room air conditioner to a side window of one of the mayors SUVs parked in the City Hall lot to see if it would fit...

When temperatures hit the high 90s a week ago, Bloomberg visited the Bronx Works senior center and called on New Yorkers to turn off all non-essential appliances.
It only takes a couple of minutes to cool off a room, he said at the time...
"So long as there's no penalty or cost involved in producing greenhouse gases, there will be no incentive" to meet targets set by international institutions, the mayor told the General Assembly. "For that reason, I believe the U.S. should enact a tax on carbon emissions.
"Terrorists kill people. Weapons of mass destruction have the potential to kill an enormous amount of people," Mr. Bloomberg told reporters after addressing the U.N. General Assembly, but "global warming in the long term has the potential to kill everybody."
Like smoking, Mr. Bloomberg said, these are preventable killers. "We should go after terrorists every place in this world, find them and kill them, plain and simple," he said. If weapons of mass destruction "get out of the hands of the countries that have them and get into the hands of terrorists, the potential is just mind-boggling," he added. And while global warming "is a much longer-term thing," he said, it "has all of the same potentials of destroying the planet that we live on...
Dang. Blooming-idiot should should down a 32 ounce Big Gulp soda, if he’s that hot.
Oh wait....
What an utter @sshat!
Its unicorn powered, leave him alone.
Where’s the link?
Just think of this asshat’s carbon imprint.
I recall one of those ‘pass it on’ emails either of Walmart topic, or perhaps Redneck topic that showed an older Cadillac, or such with a house type window A/C attached to it. Lots of Duct Tape IIRC.
Wondering if that was the source of this brilliance.
Sorry, here’s the link:

What an amateur I am!
I bet he has a 64 ounce Big Gulp hidden in there too. And a salt shaker...
Right next to his smokes.
What’s even more disturbing is the ‘man on the street’ opinions on the vid provided at the link.
Like Al Gore, he means to reduce the carbon footprint of those less rich the he, which includes pretty close to everybody else. On the weekends, Bloomberg flies his private jet to one of his homes in the Bermuda
Flight Records Uncover Elusive Mayor's Tracks
Clues to his travels can be found in flight records of Mr. Bloomberg's fleet of private planes, operated by his private financial-information company, Bloomberg LP, and also used by the mayor.
The planes flew to Bermuda, where Mr. Bloomberg owns a home, 16 times last year and 54 times in all from 2007 through 2010, according to Federal Aviation Administration records reviewed by The Wall Street Journal. On 41 trips, the aircraft left New York and spent all or part of the weekend in Bermuda. One overnight trip there coincided with the December blizzard, according to flight records.
The records also show that the Bloomberg fleet has been the single largest user of scarce slots allocated to private aircraft at La Guardia airport. The flights continued apace even after the mayor two years ago called for curbs on small commercial planes at La Guardia and other area airports to reduce congestion.
His planes often show frequent travel to Washington, London, Boston, and West Palm Beach, where Bloomberg's daughter likes to ride horses.
LOL!
You have to admire that - Red Green would be proud.
