I have a dear friend who was born in the U.S. but grew up in Germany during the Cold War. She has many relatives still living there.

She was going back to Germany to visit family and the Germans, at the time, still were enchanted with Dear Leader. I told her to explain to her German relatives that Obama was just another Erich Honecker in black face. She laughed, but she did so. Her German relatives were shocked.
