BTW, we got some outstanding results in the Oklahoma primary yesterday. The race for State Senate District 48 which includes Comanche ended in a runoff. Corey Brooks and Peggy Davenport will vie for the seat next month.
Here in Oklahoma, you have to have 50% plus 1 to avoid a runoff in the state primary.
Also, Bob Anthony won back his spot on the Corporation Commission. Those are the people who oversee the utilities.
I'm going to be doing some lawnmowing work this morning. I want to get all the strenuous work done before it gets too hot this afternoon. All of Oklahoma except the Panhandle is under a Heat Advisory through Friday.
Also, sending out thoughts and prayers to our friends in Colorado who have been and/or are being adversely affected by the ongoing wildfires. From what I've been reading this morning, it's an epic mess out there.
