One must understand, speeding tickets have nothing to do with detering speeding. Its all about collecting revenue.

If it were about ACTUALLY WANTING to slow down drivers, they'd OPENLY park in plain sight or drive along in traffic.

Instead, everything is done in hiding, in order to CATCH not deter.

You may be right, but I don’t think there are enough police to be a presence in enough locations. Certainly more of that could be done, though. The idea of catching speeders, I think, is to let all drivers know that they MIGHT be caught, and therefore should maintain the speed limit, even they can’t see any police around.

Why is everyone speeding anyway? And why the radar detectors. I generally drive around 5 mph over the limit and haven’t had a ticket in 35 years (when I was going WAY over the limit).
