That’s exactly why she moved there. I know somebody who is on the force with her, and said the officer was a wonderful, warm person who moved out of Detroit so that she and her daughter could live in a more peaceful environment.

She was working an off-duty job at this jazz concert, normally a very tame event, and a couple of “groups” (gangs, but Denver won’t admit it has a gang problem” showed up and started fighting. She stepped forward to move them apart and one of them shot her in the head.

Denver prides itself as a sanctuary city ... this could be a Hispanic (illegals) issue not a 'Holders Children' issue. This female police officer (a single mother originally from Detroit) is probably black.

That appears to be a fairly common response in a lot of cities.
