Did the article mention Christopher Gadsden?

Gadsden, a soldier and statesman from South Carolina, was the principal leader of the South Carolina Patriot movement in the American Revolution, was a delegate to the Continental Congress and a brigadier general in the Continental Army during the War of Independence. He was also the designer of the famous Gadsden flag.

Now I might not be a genius, but Charleston had SOME significance in the Civil War, no? And it has been proudly displayed in several contexts throughout American history, by many factions for different reasons. Did the article mention the origin? Probably not.

Actually no it didn’t, but one of the commenters at the end of the article did. And the complainers POV is nutty - the guilt by association. By his reasoning they shouldn’t sell the CBF or old glory either since TEA partiers wave them as well.
