Mitt Romney may have encountered a tough crowd addressing a group of Latinos Thursday, but former Florida Governor Jeb Bush transitioned easily from Spanish to English and drew loud applause on the issue of education reform and school choice and complimented the presumptive Republican nominees rival, President Obama.
At the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials or NALEO in Lake Buena Vista, Fla., Bush began by giving Romney a nod.
We heard an excellent speech, I thought, from Mitt Romney, who is a supporter of education reform and of school choice, Bush said.
However, in his next breath he aligned himself with Romneys rival and repeated what has gained him headlines over the last few weeks, but he deeply believes in: Working across party lines works as well as having a more open debate.
I am proud of the fact that as a former governor I was asked by [Education] Secretary [Arne] Duncan to introduce our current president of the United States in a high school in Miami because we share common ground, Bush said to cheers from the crowd. And I dont know about you, but when we find common ground we shouldnt fight anymore, we should move on and build on that success. Apparently one can get in trouble when they say these kinds of things, but I happen to believe its the American way."

One of the few things I respect GWB for is staying quiet, but Jeb is trying to tell us what the real Romney will do. He is trying to help him.
Romney told that Hispanic group that he will work with Dems, and he does have common ground with Obama on lots of issues. Jeb is right.
Ah go to Hell, Jeb.
If you have common grounds with communists, then go join the communist party.
Why is an English speaking nation being coerced, prodded, directed toward being bilingual in Spanish? Would the reason be those who rule us wish to create a conflicted view (in the public) of ourselves as a people, or is it to further confuse the American existence and view of our rulers? As Americans were beginning to awake to things not being done for the citizens instead rather to the citizens was the invasion a necessary step to provide a release valve for the pressure which has been placed on Americans or the rulers of Americans? This would imply something sinister. Have our rulers ever been sinister? Yes, our rulers have. Yet should not we Americans be overjoyed American culture is being impugned and be happy to be involved (as a people of the world) in a New World Order? Should not Americans surrender their uniqueness and be willing to give rights to another people to destroy our culture for the sake of a world culture, or Spanish culture should not we? It is for the good of our children is it not?
Ya just got to love the Bush's!
This is becoming quite hilarious.

Mr RomneyCARE LIES about all this
because ... As Mr. Bush says, ROMNEY IS OBAMA.
WE WILL NOT VOTE FOR A RINO TICKET.
People need to understand that the GOPe and the leftist moonbats are on the same team.
As has been noted before by several here and elsewhere, Jebbie and Slick Willie have been engaged in the same self-serving game of late: complimenting the presidential candidate of the opposing party, looking to their own interests in 2016 and undermining their party this year.
Two political animals purely out for themselves and their narrow personal interests.
The folks who are reaching here are the ones who are trying to project this statement onto Romney like you just did. That's fine, and it is clearly your strongly held belief. But it does no change the fact that it was Bush who said this, not Romney.
But this quote was Jeb Bush talking about himself and, IMHO, tying to grease the skids for his own future.
I think the Bushes are to the left of Romney...
Pandering to Hispanic Hate Groups is like the GOP hitting a big iceberg in the North Atlantic
Message to Jeb Bush “bese me culo”. And in a language he understands
I’ve never seen a political candidate who is so despised, as Romney is, even by most of his own supporters.
The family that just keeps on giving...They're like trying to shake a bad case of the flu....It just won't go away.
The arrogance of this family is colossal ...Two Bush's, now Jed thinks it's his turn....And wait, once government brings in 10 million more illegals, it will be Bush's nephew wanting his turn in the Oval office....
It's just incredible. They must see the U.S. as their own personal kingdom to rule over.
The scourge of the Bush family worsens by the day.
It will take an enema.
Shut up Jeb!
