I read an article 10 years or so ago that disputes much of this.

The article stated that under normal conditions, conflict resolution works most of the time but when it come to beliefs (religious or political) there exists a large number of whom will argue despite facts presented and proven beyond a shadow of a doubt.

There are certain people who when presented with absolute irrefutable proof will doggedly cling to their false beliefs.

The worst group were the politically motivated dogmatic's that feel that being nice, fair and treating everyone equally despite evidence that some people in no way deserved such respect.

These people ignored all evidence that some people were not worthy or even capable of treating others in kind. They operate on BLIND faith that all of mankind should think like they did and if they did not they should be shunned, despised, and even killed.

These people were what we call Liberals, Progressives, Communists, and Fascist.

Rush put it into perspective with much few words. He said "When we argue with Liberals, we just think of them as being wrong where as they think of us as being EVIL.

Welcome to the Canteen, jongaltsr....a Blessed Lord's Day to you and yours.

There are certain people who when presented with absolute irrefutable proof will doggedly cling to their false beliefs.

Something that will never change.
