The growth of state bureaucracy, unelected regional councils and choking regulation is the result of adhering to a global agenda implemented locally. The expense of all this is astounding in a time of budget austerity. Further, it restricts commerce and destroys property rights which affects tax revenue. In turn, the state looks increasingly to the victimized business or property owner to pay for the increased costs of beauraucracy - driving small businesses to the ground.
I think I’m going to puke.
