Bill Maher: 'Republicans Don't Care About Dead Mexicans'
Newsbuster.com ^ | June 23, 2012 | Noel Sheppard

Bill Maher said Friday, "Republicans don't care about dead Mexicans."

This came moments after he admitted on HBO's Real Time he didn't know anything about the controversial White House mission known as Fast and Furious "until this week" (video follows with transcript and commentary):

Bill Maher: 'Republicans Don't Care About Dead Mexicans'

BILL MAHER: I mentioned the Fast and Furious in the monologue and I really didn't explain it to people who don't know. And by the way, I was one of those people until this week who didn't know.

Why doesn’t it surprise me a dunce like Bill Maher didn’t know what Fast and Furious was until this week?

And this guy is propped up by the liberal media as being a well-informed intellect people should listen to.

Makes you sick, doesn’t it? But I digress:

MAHER: I heard that term Fast and Furious. It's not the movie, by the way. It's the name of an operation that the feds were indulging in to try to trace guns. They were purposely selling them to Mexican drug dealers. By the way, Darrell Issa, who’s head of the committee that just held Holder in contempt, he was here about a year ago and he said to me back stage before the show, “Are you going to talk about Fast and Furious?” And I said, “I don't really like Vin Diesel.”

Amazing. Maher was actually flaunting his ignorance like a badge of honor, and his liberal audience including MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow were laughing.

I guess stupidity is something to be revered on the Left. That shouldn't be surprising since they do so much in this country to make sure the education system is sub-par.

As such, why shouldn’t they highly regard a television host admitting that until last week, he had no idea about a White House operation to give guns to Mexican drug dealers that cost at least two American lives?

But I once again digress:

MAHER: I didn’t know what he was talking about. This is the two worlds that we live in. I always say they live in a bubble.

“They” live in a bubble?

Maher just admitted he had no idea about this significant covert operation being run by the American government, and he had the nerve to accuse those investigating it as living “in a bubble”:

MAHER: Anyway, Darrell Issa says this is a giant scandal. I’ve heard on Fox News this week it's worse than Watergate because 200 Mexicans have died. First of all, let me just say Republicans don't care about dead Mexicans. “A,” and “B,” I think those 200 dead Mexicans would be dead even if we hadn't sold them guns. They would have gotten the guns somewhere else. So is it really a scandal?

Let's add up Maher's score.

First, he admitted not knowing anything about Fast and Furious until this week.

Then, he flaunted his ignorance on national television.

Next, he wore it like a badge of honor only to finally belittle Republicans for not only living in a bubble but also not caring about dead Mexicans despite it being conservatives that have been talking about and investigating this failed mission for over two years while being stonewalled by Democrats.

And this man has his own nationally televised show.

Makes you wonder what country you live in, doesn't it?

It wasn't a Republican program that killed these Mexicans, dumbshit.

Maher's got his head so far up his arse he's not worth wasting time on.

BULLSTALIN. I am not buying that horsesh!t that he "didn't know" about it.

This has been on the media's radar for some time. They have willing CHOSEN to ignore it.

The media KNEW who "Joe the Plumber" was but did not discuss the issue of Marxist redistribution that had been brewing for days before the debate reference.

When it broke, they went into coverup (maybe it's an everyman reference, like Joe six-pack...) and then dumped the opposition research (illegally obtained by government workers abusing the powers of their offices) to smear Joe.

Democrats don’t care if they ARE dead. They’ll STILL be voting.

This guy is such a jerk.
The ONLY people griping about the dead Mexicans are Republicans.
The only people griping about dead Americans or the subversion of law or the Machiavellian machinations of this administration are Republicans.

And his toadies actually consider this man informed.

Fast and Furious has been under discussion on the internet for over a year. Congressional hearings have been going on for months. The Attorney General has been asked to resign by numerous senators (the sort of information that is front page news under a Republican Administration.)

I know so many morons like Maher. They think they are well-informed because the read the lead paragraphs of the New York Times everyday, and keep up to date on what Jon Stewart is sneering at these days.

That's just pathetic. They are no better informed than a potted fern.

No Bill, they Purposefully did NOT track the guns.

Maher willingly lies to easily misled liberal entertainment junkies.

They can go out to parties and bars and spout off Maher’s talking points without knowing the issues involved (having just heard about them Friday at 8pm since the media has elected NOT to give this 2 years coverage up to now).

Obama lied, people died.

One idiot on facebook said it was a result of the war on drugs. It was the war on guns that led to this debacle.

If you only listen to the state run media or only read Media Matters, you wouldn’t be informed either

And, Obama and Holder apparently don’t care about murdered (by Mexicans) CBPE agents...so what else is new?

I think those 200 dead Mexicans would be dead even if we hadn't sold them guns. They would have gotten the guns somewhere else.

I'd like to point out this is exactly what gun rights proponents say when opponents try to make it more difficult to buy guns.

That those who sell the guns aren't responsible for how they are used.

No fan of Obama, Holder or F&F. Just suggesting we shouldn't use our enemies arguments just because they happen to be politically convenient at the moment.

Does anybody seriously believe these two dead Americans or hundreds of dead Mexicans would still be alive had there been no F&F program? That they would NOT have just gotten guns somewhere else?

Who cares what this fool and the left thinks. These anti american frauds ignored the ELIGIBILITY SCAM. They ignored the CLIMATE GATE EMAILS exposing the CLIMATE CHANGE SCAM. As a matter of fact, they ignore anything that exposes the truth. Expect nothing less from the HIDE THE DECLINE PARTY.

Maherists (my term) live in a media world that only supports their agenda. As expected, relatively little discussion at DU re F&F and Sandusky (what’s wrong with a little horsing around?).

How should we take this? Apparently liberals don’t care about dead Mexicans either so we should just shut up about it. Send those drug cartels a few thousand more guns, grenades and anti-aircraft guns.

Mayer is not an American. Not really sure what he is.
Beyond stupid and ignorant, he is just a pathetic political mouthpiece for the lawless and treasonous Obama administration which also makes him a liar. He is repulsive to listen to and to look at.

Given that, he should study up on WHY Obama, et al, put Fast and Furious together. An OBVIOUS all-out attack on the Second Amendment of the Constitution, it was always intended to turn American sentiment away from this right and freedom to permit Americans to defend themselves against corrupt and despotic government rule such as Obama’s Marxist actions against the American people and our core values. Mayer is just another mindless radical liberal that is totally out of touch with the American people and how they perceive his gross anti-American rhetoric and purchase of favor of Obama with his "donations" to the Marxist cause.
